Dot, $2800

Dot is a tiny bag of love. She has what is known as a Black and Tan Phantom-colored coat, a primarily Black coat with symmetric patterned Tan markings around her eye brows, mouth, chest, limbs, and booty. Dot has been crate trained and also potty trained. She is the one with the fewest accidents and does very well to hold until she is taken outside to take care of her business.

About Phantom Colored Mini Goldendoodles

Phantom Mini Goldendoodles are considered an extremely rare color for a Mini Goldendoodle. Unlike the parti Mini Goldendoodle, phantom Mini Goldendoodles must have two colors in very specific locations of the dog. The location of the coloring is similar to that of a Yorkie or a Doberman. A phantom Mini Goldendoodle must have a primary color that covers a majority of the body. The second color will appear symmetrically around the eyebrows, on the muzzle of the nose, and lower parts of the legs and their booty.

Phantom Mini Goldendoodles are commonly colored black and tan, but the results may often times vary. It’s rare that two phantom Mini Goldendoodles will look the same.

It’s very easy to tell if your dog will be a phantom Goldendoodle because they are always born with the markings. In other words, you cannot develop the colorings of a phantom Mini Goldendoodle over time. In terms of temperament and other traits, they are the same as any other Mini Goldendoodle, but their coat is extremely rare.

Specific coat genes are needed to produce a Mini Goldendoodle with the phantom coat pattern. Mini Goldendoodles have a lot of genetics for coat patterns and colors, so it is sometimes the luck of the draw when a phantom Mini Goldendoodle is born.

Are Phantom Goldendoodles More Expensive?

Yes, phantom Goldendoodles tend to be more expensive than other types of Goldendoodles. You can expect to pay about twice as much for a phantom Goldendoodle than a standard Goldendoodle. This is typically anywhere between $3,000 and $5,000 for the price of a standard sized phantom Goldendoodle. Expect to pay more for the Miniature sized Goldendoodle. This is because Phantom Goldendoodles are rarer than solid Goldendoodles.
